David is a researcher at Nokia Bell Labs in Antwerp, Belgium. He is interested in network machine learning and his research focuses on the virtualization of the home, which will enable its occupants to carry it with them wherever they go in a simple and secure manner. Making the vHome vision a reality implies advancing the state of the art in areas like SDN automation, network programmability and IoT.
He previously worked at Huawei's European Research Center and Docomo Euro-Labs on the design of future mobile core networks (5G), leveraging on SDN and NFV technologies. Prior to that, he was at CERN, where he participated in cutting-edge research activities on linear proton accelerators as part of the upgrade of the LHC (Large Hadron Collider).
Senior Researcher, 5G Mobile Core Networks, Huawei Technologies (2014-2016)
