Revolutionizing remote surveillance experience

The system allows multiple independent simultaneous viewers on different devices—all via the same 360° camera. The stream can be viewed on head-mounted display (HMD), screen, laptop, tablet and mobile phone. A 360° view coupled with 8K resolution makes the user feel as if they are there in the moment. Traditional multimedia stream has a fixed viewport, whereas RXRM Real-time eXtended Reality Multimedia 360° multimedia stream has full operator control. Near-zero latency and reduced bandwidth needs

Nokia RXRM enables fully mobile multimedia streaming with extremely high quality without congesting the network. RXRM reduces the typical bandwidth requirements of 360° video streaming by up to 90%. RXRM provides a multimedia stream with near-zero latency and no loss in quality. This is achieved by streaming only the viewport, meaning that part of the 360° video that is visible to the viewer.

Visual overlays, recording and playback

Visual overlays can be applied on top of the video stream. Integrations to additional media sources, including IoT data and audio and video analytics solutions are available through APIs. Integration to Artificial Intelligence opens up limitless possibilities on utilizing multimedia for better and faster decision-making.
