Energy efficiency is present in all our R&D programs, from energy generation over smart grid to highly efficient ultra-low power solutions for smart systems. The “GreenTouch Initiative” expresses IMEC’s ambition to reduce power from the application layer to the device architecture. We are enthusiastic to be able to contribute to drastically lowering the energy consumption in one of the key enabling technologies for a future with a better life for all, communication across the planet, with a “green touch.”
