iMinds
iMinds, formerly known as The Interdisciplinary Institute for Broadband Technology (www.iminds.be/en) is an independent research institute founded by the Flemish government to stimulate ICT innovation. iMinds unites more than 600 researchers from various Flemish universities and knowledge centers and brings them together with companies, authorities, and non-profit organizations to join forces in developing new technologies and applications in the following areas: culture and media; health; green ICT; and mobility and logistics. An important mission of iMinds is the creation of highly competent human capital in different aspects of ICT through multi-disciplinary demand-driven research. This includes all technological, legal, and social dimensions of the development and exploitation of broadband technologies and services.
