Leadership
Dr. Laurent Lefèvre is a permanent researcher in computer science at the French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA). Prior to joining the INRIA, he was assistant professor in computer science in Lyon 1 University and a member of the RESAM Laboratory (High Performance Networks and Multimedia Application Support Lab) from 1997 to 2001.
Dr. Lefèvre received his Doctorate in Computer Science from the Laboratoire Informatique du Parallelisme (LIP Laboratory) at the Ecole Normale Superieure (ENS-Lyon).
As an active member of the RESO team (High Performance Networks, Protocols and Services) at the LIP laboratory in Lyon, France, he has organized several conferences in high performance networking and computing and is a member of several program committees. Dr. Lefèvre has also co-authored more than 80 papers published in refereed journals and conference proceedings. His current interests include: grid and distributed computing and networking, green and energy efficient computing and networking, autonomic networking, high performance networks protocols and services.
